Welcome to kimcstudio.com ("Website"). This Website is operated by KimC Studio (ABN 55 164 293 290). By accessing or purchasing from this Website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read this document carefully before using our Website or placing an order.

  1. Use of This Website

You may use this Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not misuse the Website, including interfering with security features, transmitting viruses, or violating intellectual property rights.

We may update or modify content at any time without notice.

  1. Products & Availability

All products are produced in small batches. Availability may change without notice. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, fabric variations, and natural materials.

We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue items.

  1. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We accept payments via:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Apple Pay
  • PayPal
  • Afterpay (if activated)

Payment must be received in full (or deposit for pre-orders) before your order is confirmed.

  1. Orders & Pre-Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledgment. This does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order for any reason.

Pre-order items require a deposit or full payment to secure production. Estimated delivery timeframes are listed on each product page.

  1. Shipping

We ship domestically and internationally. Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Once dispatched, delays caused by carriers, customs, or external factors are outside our control.

Customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes.

  1. Returns & Exchanges

Our garments are made in limited quantities. For this reason:

  • No refunds for change of mind
  • Exchanges for size only (within 7 days of delivery)
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached
  • Refunds are only issued for faulty items under Australian Consumer Law
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty

We reserve the right to decline a return if it does not meet these conditions.

  1. Faulty Items

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it with photos and order details. Faults caused by misuse, improper care, or wear and tear are not covered.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including designs, images, logos, graphics, and text, is owned by KimC Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.

  1. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected and handled.

  1. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KimC Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or damages arising from the use of this Website or products purchased.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in Victorian courts.

  1. SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY 

Shipping Information

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

  • Standard shipping: 2-6 business days
  • Express shipping: 1-3 business days
    Tracking is provided for all domestic orders.

International Shipping

International delivery timeframes vary by destination.
Customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Taxes
  • Import fees

These may be charged when the shipment arrives in your country.

Pre-Order Shipping

Pre-order items are made in small batches. Estimated delivery timeframes are listed on each product’s page.

Orders containing both pre-order and in-stock items will be shipped together, unless you request split shipping (fees may apply).

Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays. Any delays will be communicated to you promptly.

Returns & Exchanges

Change of Mind Returns

KimC Studio produces in strictly limited quantities. For this reason:
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

Exchanges

We offer size exchanges only (subject to availability) if:

  • The item is returned within 7 days of delivery
  • It is unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • All tags, packaging, and accessories are intact

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds for Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

A faulty claim must include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the fault
  • Clear photos or videos

We will cover return shipping if the item is confirmed faulty.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Items worn, altered, or washed
  • Items with makeup, fragrance, or stains
  • Sale or sample pieces
  • Pre-order items (exchange only)

How to Arrange a Return

Email hello@kimcstudio.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

We will provide return instructions within 24 hours (Mon–Fri).

  1. PRE-ORDER TERMS 

Pre-Orders at KimC Studio

Pre-orders allow you to secure limited-edition pieces crafted in small production runs. Because these garments are made to order, pre-order purchases follow specific terms.

Payment

Pre-orders require:

  • Full payment or
  • Deposit payment, depending on the item

Your order is not confirmed until payment is received.

Production Timeframes

Estimated delivery windows are listed on each product page. These are approximations only.

Production timing may be affected by:

  • Fabric availability
  • Artisan scheduling
  • Small-batch manufacturing processes
  • Variations inherent in natural materials

If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you promptly.

Cancellations

Pre-orders cannot be cancelled once placed, as production begins specifically for your garment.

Changes to Your Order

Size changes may be possible within 48 hours of ordering.
After that, adjustments cannot be guaranteed.

Exchanges & Refunds

Because pre-order items are made in limited quantities:

  • No refunds for change of mind
  • Size exchanges only (subject to availability) once the item arrives
  • If your pre-order item cannot be produced, you will receive a full refund

Shipping

Your pre-order will ship once production is completed.
If you order multiple items together:

  • They will ship together, or
  • You may request split shipping (fees may apply)

Faulty Pre-Order Items

If your pre-order item is faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund according to Australian Consumer Law.
